I've never understood why bands wait until like their fourth or fifth album to self title it, I mean...I dont know I just think its awkward but it happens all the time.

Considering that I love Pearl Jam to death, even some of their later work (well...Love Boat Captain at least off of 'Riot Act'), I have to say that I'm not terribly impressed by this song (but then again, I Am Mine was a single over LBC so...). Eh. They got me to buy Binaural so obviously I'll be picking this up when it drops; but nevertheless, the Thursday album will almost certainly hit my CD player first.

I know. I still remember saving up allowance to buy "Ten" a few months after it came out. I was 11 years old and I had to beg my parents to let me get it. Seems like yesterday when I remember tearing it open as soon as I got out of the store in the mall, even though in reality it was almost 15 years ago.

I feel old.

PJ has still stuck with me all these years. I actually liked Binural alot. For some reason it was Riot Act that was the first PJ album that didn't really impress me much.

"State of Love and Trust" is, was, and always will be my favorite song of all time. There is no way that anyone can dislike that song. Amazing. Its one of a few rare songs that gets me really pumped up and can give me goosbumps at the same time.

couldn't have said it any better, but for me it was 8th grade my brother came home from college and downloaded a bunch of these songs from that moment on i was hooked, i am now a senior in high school, i know its been a mere 4-5 years now, but songs like 'Light Years' and "Elderly Woman...." can help you through the toughest times

ahh can't wait.
