I liked Faso Latido... everyone hated it, I know, but I thought it was great. I was just annoyed by the copy-protection it had. It should be interesting to see what they sound like now, because it's pretty much a new band now.

um IMO if they were going to wouldnt they release a and dont forget to breathe part 2? seriously they did in my eyes, stay true cause they made the songs they wanted to. sorry bands cant come out with a new album sounding the same. i used to hate matchbook but their new album is great i also loved say hello to sunshine by finch. all three albums voices,SHTS, and faso latido showed the bands writing better lyrics first "take this blade to my wrist" "i never meant to hurt you" YEAH thats been done plenty of times and showed their better musicianship. this is my opinion and i stick by it, sure bands change some people like it some dont. but i liked faso latido alot, dont forget to breathe is a classic in its own time when screamo wasnt what it is now.

also i dont get all you guys who now dislike ASL so you post comments?

that is so not true, i am good friends with the band and they do not care. they were more disappointed than upset. they made an album faithful to themselves, they experimented, as most bands theses days do. they are going even further with experimentation with both new projects. they are trying to do something new. so many bands copied them and did what they did with ...and dont forget to breath, they felt that they needed to do something different. i hate to drop names and all but look at At the Drive-In. they experimented, broke up, formed 2 new bands and both new bands succeeded in my book, in this case ASL are keeping their name and Casket Salesmen were born. a new direction for both bands, i wish them the best, you all should too. it is sad when a band has to lose faith in its fans...
