genius dan snyder is so smart that even after the new CBA bailed them out, they have just about enough to draft the players to fill the holes from the ones they had to cut

won't be hard to do in that division.
offense? it needs to exist to win. not dominate...but exist.

There are no official reasons to say we don't have a shot this year.
Although this does a good job of calling out Mr. Farrell.

honestly, i think people who talk about how great their team's chances are when the free agents haven't been sign and the draft hasn't happened are just dumb. so much can happen in 5 month's it's crazy.

It's damned ridiculous. I hate the "guarentee"s and the "we will win" shit. It just makes fans look dumb.

He's just an asshat who knows nothing about football other than "Oh we got a coach!". He can't really back up his claims with anything other than "We're going to win"

Reasons why the Redskins won't win the SuperBowl:
1) AFC --> Since when is the AFC not dominant?
2) NFC East --> Giants and Cowboys will probably be better than the Redskins.
3) Lavar Arrington --> Gone.
4) Mark Brunell --> Isn't he like 60?

exactly. and of course the Eagles definately will be better than all 3.

If the Giants can sign Sam Madison or Lavar Arrington, their defense takes a couple of steps up. That would be a huge kick in the ass to Washington.

to the skins credit...they did sign the todd pinkston of the west, brandon lloyd. the kids good for a few circus catches, but if the 49ers don't even want you...
Broken Parachute

I didn't know they signed Madison. That's a big help. Their corners are horrible. They had no big game Corners. They had Curtis Deloatch covering Randy Moss when they played in Oakland.
One thing they could really use is another Offensive Lineman.

for one lavar arrington was not even an defensive option this year to begin with so i dont see him leaving being a huge deal.. i see it like getting rid of TO, it was good cause he was becomming a child. and yeah the whole jail thing will hurt but then again we went a majority of the season without carlos rogers so im calling it even.
the problem with the skins is the ownership and draft manipulation. we didnt need cambell when we couldve used a second good wideout...like maybe matt jones.....but to say the redskins ahve no hope is stupid..specially when you look at their division and how anything can happen. now if they were the texans and 49ers id change my story but the redskins will never be in a rebuilding process which always puts them in contention....while also scewing them in the future

ok we need to drop the lavar arrington thing even being an issue. we did fine without him....as a matter of fact i loved seeing the other lbs like marcus washington (who argueably could of made the pro bowl) and lamar marshall step up andplay harder then ive seen arrington play in a while.
and who cares about brunell's age...look at other greats. (jim kelly, steve young, joe montana, dan marino, john elway) and how they finished their careers. brunell is no where as good as any of them but he finished his last season better then any other hes had. until he gets injured or has to leave a game from "old man pains" this is just a mute arguement.
if you want brunell's age to be a problem then i guess you have no problem telling Bledsoe, Collins, Farve, Green, Kitna, McCnair, and Warner that their too old.
you could disect everyone one of those qbs and their careers and make an excsuse but plenty of teams would take most of those qbs.

skins just aquired TE christian feuria and safety adam archuilta...so as i said earlier that takes care of a little of their secondary problems as well as their TE hole, but theys till have cooley as hb......now they just need another solid pass rush on theDefensive front line......dan snyders cap is infinite!!!!

i dont see how overspending is hurting them YET. our country does deficit spending each year. i have yet to see how the cap has hurt the sins. as long as their fanbase is there and they keep sellig tickets, i dont see your point besides complaining like a slut.

You overspend on mid-level talent for so many years only to be let down again and again, and even loyal fans like you and Ferrel will lose interest.

first off...wonderful counter argument with a personal attack.
second, the overspending hurts them because by overpaying for midlevel talent, rather than drafting, developing talent, and saving money like a well run team, they are destroying any chance they have at long term success. remember the 1997 florida marlins? well this is like that except less talent.
they were bailed out with the CBA got signed. they were amazingly close to a disaster, and got lucky. then, rather than learn from their previous mistake, they decide to blow more money and faster on anything that they can get.
there are a lot of teams running model organizations, capping value, drafting well, signing with their surplus of cap space when the time is right.
then there's the redskins who try to keep buying in the short term to try and fill spots, regardless or chemistry or character, and are going to suffer in the long term. see new york knicks.

we are very close to being where we need to be, snyder is a very aggressive business man. to be honest he has personally screwed my father over in a business deal before, but i still dont hate him because the man will do whatever it takes to win, he is a cutthroat business man and a cutthroat owner.
and there was no personal attack earlier so relax.

He didn't think Snyder was dumb enough to giveh im that much money. I mean Randle El turned down a 6 year 18 mil offer from Chicago. 6 Years at 18 mil with an 8 million signing bonus. What did the Redskins give him? 7 years at $31 with 11.5 guaranteed. Give me a break. They probably could have gotten him for 2 million cheaper.
