I've heard a song or two from each band and I'm pretty into them, but I have no idea what else from them is good. I'm aware that most of their songs are probably good and worth listening to in the long run, but when I'm getting into bands I usually like to start off with only one album or a handful of songs.

So from Bayside, give me about ten songs from their discography that you think are the best.

From August Burns Red, give me a few of your favorites or let me know what their best album is.

One last thing, are their any big differences in August Burns Red's discography or is it the same general sound throughout?

P.S. it's going to suck when I really get into Bayside cause I've seen them three times having no idea what they played and having a couple more opportunities to see them but not going.

Every ABR song sounds the same.

Bayside's cover of the Smoking Popes song "Megan" is amazing, but as far as albums are concerned, The Walking Wounded is tops.

Any Bayside is good Bayside. It's hard to narrow it down to 10 favorites, but if I had to recommend one album to start off with, it would probably their self titled. It shows where they've been and how their music has progressed with The Walking Wounded and Shudder. Not to mention, it's just a brilliant record. Sirens And Condolences could also be a good record to start with because it's their first full length.

Bayside - Self Titled... easily. As it's been said though any Bayside - Good Bayside. I would also check out Paternal Reversal (song) it's off their acoustic (where you can also find Megan). You can also check their tracklisting for their live cd and see what's on there.

ABR - Thrill Seeker is the shit for me. Speech Impediment is a really great song (imo).

I totally agree with The Personist about ABR. It's tough to find songs that are discernible from one another in ABR's catalog.
I'm not familiar so much with Bayside, but I've heard good things.

Bayside -
Devotion and Desire
No One Understands
Boy
I Think I'll Be Ok
Moceanu (My personal favorite)
Beautiful Girls (Sean Kingston Cover) - I think it's interesting hearing it because of how unique his voice is haha.

ABR sucks, to be honest. :]

Thrill Seeker by ABR and Messengers and Constellations are basically one album
Bayside's self titled is awesome start to finish

I'm really excited to see Bayside on October 21 at Highline Ballroom. They're playing with Senses Fail. Is anyone else going to be there?
