since your a pretty big brand new fan (your last.fm thing) ... i personally think the end of the song the "gonna make daaaaaaaaaaamn suuuuuure" part with like the guitar slide reminds me of the end of Quiet things by BN (iiiiiiii lie for only you, where the guitar stops), that might be what you're thinking of.
