I saw this show last night in Baltimore,MD at the Ottobar. This was the best show I have ever seen.
First up were The Arsons. I had never heard them before, but I got in the pit anyway. They opened up with a song that isn't on their 11 track album, Whole Life Crisis. After that, they played the title track, and songs like "Down" and "Sweet Electricity." They were a very energetic band, and at one point they're drummer took over rythem guitar and singing, and the bouncing souls drummer sat in.
Next were Roger Miret and the Disasters. They really got the pit started. They played about 7 or 8 songs, the highlights being, "Give em the boot," and a cover of The Clash, which they dedicated to Joe Strummer.
Finally it was time for the band I really wanted to see. They're police sirens they used went off, and they went right in to "Punx Unite" Almost everyone in the pit was up there trying to sing into the mic. Then, they went into "Ugly Bastards." Jake dedicated the next song, "City Council," to Fat Dave. After a few more songs, Jorge announced that they had only three more songs left. Then he dedicated the next one to all the punk couples in the pit, and they went into "punk rock love." Then they started playing "Riot," and I crowdsurfed over to the stage, and sang with jake. Finally, they went into "Made in NYC," and almost the whole pit was on stage.
Last were the Bouncing Souls. They were extremely energetic. They started off with the first track off of their new album, "How I Spent My Summer Vacation." They went through a good set, but I wasn't paying attention to the songs much because of the fall i took when the crowd dropped me during "Hopeless Romantics."
All in all this was a great show.
