That's really weird, I heard them say it was one of the funnest tours they'd ever been on.

I like the gallows, I wasn't really into them at first but now I am into them. I can't wait to see them at the Cincinnati date but if they are so sick of being on warped and they hate it so much I don't understand why they just don't drop off or something. There might be a penalty or something but I am surprised if they hate it so much that they are doing it but that's just me

Plus they were on it in 2007, If they hated it so much, why did they come back?

07 didn't have Brokencyde, Millionaires, I Set My Friends on Fire, etc.

I'm not even a little surprised they hate it.

my only regret was leaving their set after going into the circle pit.

Pretty sure since they're on a major label now that they'd make them stay on the whole tour. In 2007, they weren't signed and could have fallen off of it.

i don't really listen to gallows much, but that seems shitty to tell people at warped that you love being there, and then go around and say you hate it at a small show. i understand there are some shitty bands, but there are also some great bands. ignore the shitty "bands", embrace the good ones, and at least try to have a good time :|

While I think its funny they said that at the same time I also think that if they hate it that much they should say it every day on warped instead of at some basement show and continue to fake enjoying it,that seems to be more punk to me then to do it at some small basement show.

They didn't shit talk warped just at the basement show, they have openly talked shit about the tour at each of the shows on warped. So they aren't telling some people one thing and others a different, they are being completely honest with their feelings of the tour. Alot of bands may hate warped tour but wont because they are trying to maintain an image or something, Gallows have a "fuck you" attitude, so people will either deal with it or complain about it...

The reason I think that Gallows haven't dropped yet (most likely due to label restrictions or whatever) but also their job is to spread their music and unfortunately at this time the best possible way to do that is to be on warped tour whether you like or hate the experience or whether it is with a bunch of shitty bands or not, they have stood out on this tour so in that aspect they have done their job as musicians.

well i was going by what i saw in this thread, as i obviously don't follow gallows. one of the first posts said
"they said at Oceanport they were happy to be there". so sorry if i was misinformed.
i can appreciate honesty, but this still seems like a really negative attitude to have, but i guess i'm one for making the best of a shitty situation. i don't know why they hate warped, but if it's the bands, then like i said, that's stupid. focus on the bands you like then. don't make yourself miserable b/c there are bands you don't like. and if it's just the touring in general and how much of a toll warped can take, they knew that going into it, they've been on warped before.

Yeah i don't know about oceanport, but I read that just about every show of warped they are talking shit on other bands or the tour or something, and yeah it is a negative attitude but i think its a combination of the bands and the direction the tour is going that makes them miserable. Warped tour has definitely changed over the past couple years, so they were probably unprepared for the bullshit this year and I dont think it is necessarily playing the shows everyday that is the problem. Im sure there are many reasons for their attitude towards the tour, but I have no idea what goes on in the business aspect of the tour.

None the less, whether you like the guys or not, their music is awesome and that is really all it comes down to, whether or not you enjoy listening to them.

they wanted to do a basement show in indy too, and even asked for one by name. but for one reason or another it didn't end up happening.

I think they just say things like that to say that they couldn't be more happy to play for the fans that are there.
That would make sense to me.
