the majorlabel thing wouldnt suprise me, but dreamworks does not exist anymore as of like 2 years ago. I believe all the bands were either dropped or their contracts were moved to geffen and other UMG labels.

aww. I thought the lyrics from the first album were wonderful, such good metaphors and imagery. My band is even named after some of their lyrics. But I wasn't impressed with the second album. I still have hopes for album number three though!

oh cut the shit...i heard they were bad live and then went to see them with action reaction and chiodos and they ripped it. I thought the show was right on and they did a great job with the set list they had. I'm no diehard fan of this band either so that aint it...they just did a nice job with the show

They put on a really intense live show when I saw them with Matchbook Romance and had obviously improved since I saw them with Something Corporate about a year before that. I don't mind his vocals, but I guess there's room for anyone to improve.

And the Producer of their next cd is.... I know, but im not telling. Also the first time i saw Armor live they weren't that good but I saw them in Buffalo w/ Boys night out and Chiodos and they are so solid as were everyone else on that tour. I think people need to get excited for their next cd sounds like its going to be big.

weird, everyone loves their new cd around where i live.
+ i saw them at bamboozle last year & they were pretty tight live.

However, I got twenty bucks that says they are signing to Warner Music Group. I just know it....

i love AFS but from my experience they are inconsistent live. some shows were awful and others were amazing. at the Chiodos BNO stop in Portland, they owned it. plus Ben was really cool to us a few shows back and totally made time for us to talk about touring and all. rad guys. the new song they played on this current tour was amazing as well. really nice progression and it seems like it fits his vocal range better. some of the songs "on what to do" really strecthced his vocal range in a bad way and pulling em off live... eeek. that said. AFS is fucking amazing.
agree, they're amazing, i can't see why suddenly everyone gives them some shit :| and lyrics on the new album are good, not the best but you just have to get some good point to look at them and it's not bad

Guys I just got this press release thingy off their myspace:
We recently took some time off to start writing some new material for you guys.. We've gotta say, it's awesome. We think this is definately are best stuff yet and you guys are the ones that inspired us to do this. We're hoping to go into the recording studio this summer and then get it out on the shelves as quick as possible. We've already got the title for the new album down. It's gonna be called 'Hunting For The Dead'. If you enjoyed our last album and the whole idea behind it then you're gonna love this one. Basically this is a concept album about necrophilia. We go through things such as the prejudice surrounding it and the addiction factor too. We're really psyched about it and we hope you are too. So keep an eye out for more updates in the upcoming months! Take care.
