Highlights:
Hoboken, New Jersey, Mayor Peter Cammarano III and New Jersey Assembly members Daniel Van Pelt and L. Harvey Smith were among those arrested, according to the U.S. attorney's office in Newark, New Jersey.
Cammarano is 33 and hasn't even served a month in office.
Federal officials also accused five rabbis, including the national leader of the Syrian Jewish community, of laundering more than $3 million, said acting U.S. Attorney Ralph Marra Jr.
Investigators charged one man with conspiring to broker -- for a fee of $160,000 -- the sale of a human kidney for transplant.
Levy Izhak Rosenbaum of Brooklyn, New York, offered to obtain a kidney -- in return for the fee -- for an undercover FBI agent and confidential witness working for authorities, a criminal complaint said.
In a statement, New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine said: "Any corruption is unacceptable -- anywhere, anytime, by anybody. The scale of corruption we're seeing as this unfolds is simply outrageous and cannot be tolerated."

Funny cause North Dakota of all places was recently ranked most corrupt state in the Union.....of course that was based on conviction rates.

In other news, John Corzine's running mate for the upcoming election for governor is a former reality star with no political background.

I don't know a whole lot about Christie. Why do you think this?

I saw street fight for the first time this week. That pretty much sums up Jersey in a nutshell.
The clip of Sharpe James and McGreevy was priceless.

Because he was, in my opinion, a corrupt district attorney and way to close with Bush.
Though I must say, I agree with his stance on education.

I think in terms of overall enjoyability, New Jersey is the second worst state in the nation. Only Kentucky can surpass it.

I'm only speaking from experience, and at least Wyoming is pretty.

eh only Yellowstone is. I drove through there this summer, most of the state looks terrible, is super windy and the residents are rednecks.

West Virginia has good looks. Kentucky does not. I mean, going into Kentucky from Huntington is horrible. The first thing you see are factories and smoke stacks and shit. On the welcome sign it should read: "Kentucky: Fire and Brimstone" because that's literally what it's like.
But I'm only like this now because I just got off a ~14 hour trip from Wisconsin to home.

Yeah after my trip to Denver I grew to hate Wyoming with a passion. Idaho or Montana need to steal Yellowstone and just let the state be 100% shitty.
