View Full Version : I could use some new suggestions
Don't give me any hate for my favorites, I'm kinda an all around person when it comes to music xD
My favorite bands-
Sum 41
Blink-182
Green Day
Linkin Park
A Day to Remember
I'm really into Pop/Punk lately, such as All Time Low, but also into some of the post hardcore stuff as well.
Lately I've listened to a lot of Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals, and Sugar Ray
I'd appreciate if you suggest a band if you'd also give me a particular song, or songs i should check out...
And If I already know the band then I'll let you know if you wanna try again. Haha.
Edit: Also, nothing sexist, but I prefer if it's a male singer. I love Paramore and some other girl singer bands, but It's a rare exception for some reason.

Your music taste is soooooo 2000. If you want good pop punk, try Yellowcard and Fireworks.
Also, you aren't sexist for not enjoying female vocals. I hate them too.

Did you seriously just rec this kid 3OH!3? You have some great bands in there, but omg, that's horrible. Don't ever do that again. In fact, delete them from your library asap if you have any sense at all.

Oh, and I love 3OH!3. Lyrically, their music is shit. But it's catchy.

Wow, a few friend linked me to this thread and apparently, none of us are capable of looking at time stamps. Hahahahaha. Oh well, I'm glad you like better music now.
I mean, except 3OH!3. That's gross.

It is gross. Totally gross. It's a guilty pleasure though. I wish I could say I hate it, but somehow I don't.
If it's any constellation, I have no respect for the music whatsoever.

if you like pop-punk, go for living with lions, fireworks, saves the day (the album through being cool), mixtapes, and say anything. as far as general suggestions go, i love the hold steady and manchester orchestra. maybe you'll like em too.
