I really like the "Into The Wild" soundtrack. Fits the movie so well. Eddie Vedder did a tremendous job.

Actually just came in here to say this, haha. I'm not really a Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder fan, but like you said, it fits the movie great.

I watched Watchmen today and the whole time I was thinking how it had some pretty badass music on it.
I was literally telling my friend five minutes before the movie started how much I fucking love the song Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley. So, when during the sex scene and they started playing the song, I couldn't help but laugh. I tried so hard to have some composure but I lost it. The scene was so awkward and on top of it, that irony of just talking about the song didn't help.

Oh, and Children of Men also had a dope Dubstep soundtrack.
Also basically every score Nino Rota did ever, and loads of French new wave films had great ones (and, by association, The Dreamers, which had some classic movie themes in it), including:

Yeah Sean Penn (the director) actually hand picked Vedder to do the soundtrack. So I guess Penn knew what he was doing too.

Why was this even necessary? It was a great movie with a great soundtrack. There's nothing wrong with a well executed romantic comedy.

We had to study that for a month in film criticism, and I still don't fully understand it. A Clockwork Orange is just as confusing though haha.
