I agree, the singer has always reminded me of gatsbys a bit, I like em a lot though!

Why do I have a feeling they're gonna be the "new" Brand New?

This song sounds like a GAD song more than a BN.

I didn't mean by the way they sound (although they do sound like older Brand New), I meant how I think this album is gonna make them "all the rage" like Brand New became after Deja Entendu.

Pretty awesome song. I'm digging it. But I've never heard Gatsby's American Dream... I do hear a lot of people talking about them, I guess I should check them out.

Wow this is probably one of the best songs I've heard all yr. I like their style and looking forward to this album.
I think the comparison to them blowing up like Brand New is possible. Tate will have everyone digging this album, which I cant argue against.

I know Scott will probably disagree with me on this, but Beware The Jub-Jub Bird And Shun The Frumious Bandersnatch was much better left untouched. I hope I don't have to worry about this album suffering "Cartel-Syndrome" , a.k.a. overdoing good songs with vocals and guitars that are far too clean and spotless to be anything other than digital- but considering it's Forgive Durden, I'll like it anyway.

So I just heard 2 new songs acoustic and I totally take back about what I said about worrying about this album, The Tango is totally badass.
Fueled By Ramen is going to be so loaded by the end of 2006.. This release alone is going to sell huge if the rest of the album is anything like the first two songs.
haha dude, have you like hacked PV or something?!
Maybe.

yeah, those were performed on my radio show actually. the album is just so diverse and unique. I personally don't see the GAD comparison, but maybe that's just because GAD is so special and unique to me that I couldn't compare anyone to them.
lets ROCK it x

Pretty sweet song.
about half of the GAD comparisons are just because they're both from Seattle.
Forgive Durden's LP will knock everyone on their asses.
As will Gatsbys.

I remember seeing these guys with like seven other kids in the crowd. NO LONGER! It's only a matter of time before they blow up. This song is awesome.

Ditto to everything that's been said. I love the sound Forgive Durden have molded themselves into on these new songs. They just took everything that kicks ass about technical pop-rock and turned it up 3 notches. Sounds nothing like GAD, unless you're talking about the quality of kick ass music from the North-West.
