The Taj Motel Trio (http://www.tajmoteltrio.com) are currently competing in the semi-finals of the Bon Jovi "Have a Nice Gig" competition. This week, the band are up against five others competing to be crowned this weeks champion. Once all is said and done, the band recieving the most votes will open for Bon Jovi at Madison Square Gardens in NYC. The online voting can be found here (http://bonjovi.livedaily.com/). It’s been a month since we opened for Bon Jovi and now we’re at it again. As part of our contest winnings, we are now competing in the Bon Jovi “Have a Nice Gig” Semi-Finals. Over the next four weeks, 6 bands will compete online each week. The band with the most votes from a single week will move on. From the top 4 finalists, Richie Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi will then choose their favorite to open for them at Madison Square Garden in NYC!!!
So, now you know what’s going on, here’s the important part. This week, Monday, March 13, through Sunday, March 19, we’re up to bat against 5 other bands. TAJ AND SKA FANS UNITE! Let’s show these guys that ska is relevant, and that not everyone listens to what the mainstream media tells them too. Lets win this contest!
