Yeah I was at that show too, and most people left before the junior varsity came on, the show wasnt well put together, Nick's Keyboarded needed an amp, and there was a local that played after TJV, and they only got 25 minutes and only played like 4 songs of wide eyed

The Junior Varsity will Still 100% be playing the Carmel, IN show and possibly the Columbus, OH show... since they have cancelled or been cancelled on for the last 5 or so OH shows. Small towns' van broke down, they got a rental, then THAT broke down- so due to the money issue they pulled out of the show.

i saw this tour in belleville, il, and there weren't very many people there either. zolof wasn't even there, and the locals got more of a response than small towns did. kind of disappointing...

Actually, they are easily one of Minnesota's best. Put one of the best live shows I've ever seen, they started off with the whole post-hardcore route that you seem to be fond off, but changed it up and are making the music they want to. In my opinion, they are the best at their craft.

Also, would you mind mentioning some bands that you believe are better than STBALS? I'm curious as to which bands you have in mind, because I guarantee you there aren't too many that are better than them.

i think that's because these bands subscribe to the 'let's go tour! yeaaaaah! touring!' school of touring, as opposed to the, 'let's advertise the tour ahead of time so people actually show up to see us play' school.

My band (www.myspace.com/forrester (http://www.myspace.com/forrester)) played at a stop on this tour in NJ with all of them. Although there weren't THAT many people and I didn't really pay much attention to Zolof and Small Towns, TJV closed with a tight ass set, probably the best band ive ever seen live.
