I have nothing against Fall Out Boy, but what's the deal with re-releasing albums? It really frustrates me to hear that a "new and improved" version will be hitting the shelves before I've even had a chance to listen to the original I just purchased.

How about that Fall Out Boy? I hear that Pete Wentz has really thrown something nice together on this new release. It will be interesting to see how it holds up to their previous efforts.

Full band of My Heart is the Worst Kind of Weapon, remixes of Sugar We're Goin' Down and Dance Dance, and the b-sides The Music or the Misery and Snitches. The only thing I didn't already have is this new version of MHITWKOW and I don't really care about the remixes. They could have at least done something like the limited edition of Take This to Your Grave and maybe included the Sugar, Dance Dance, and Sixteen Candles videos. I'm guessing they want us to triple dip eventually though.. Or maybe on the DVD.

It's just a demo version of "My Heart.." and because of that, it's not too impressive. :\

^^Makes it even less appealing, eh? Should I feel bad if I download demos even if they're released for digital purchase or on a CD like this which I have the original of? I hate digital purchases- I'd rather have a tangible copy of it even if I don't use it. That said, were there any other b-sides/demos/unreleased stuff from FUCT besides The Music, Stitches, Austin We Have a Problem, and Star 67/Intro? I have the My Heart Will Always Be.. EP(?).

I just downloaded the Aberdien album from downloadpunk.com and it's pretty awesome. They are from my area and my brother's band is playing with them on the 1st so I had to check them out. But honestly it's pretty good.

i didn't have these fall out boy songs, but just bought them from itunes rather than repurchasing the entire physical cd. if this had come with a live dvd of even just something as simple with their live mtv performances i would have bought it.
if you are going to re-release a record you want everyone to buy...you have to put some extras on it that people are really going to want

it does come out in april. The tracks were released on iTunes today and the cd will be released to certain local record stores on April 4th. It will also be availible on smartpunk and interpunk if one of the stores isn't near you.

Yeah the Fall Out Boy really isnt worth it but you can do what I did and get it cheap this week at Best Buy or Target for under ten and then resell your original copy. Mine went for like $7 on half.com so I got the new one for like $3 and its worth about that. Oh yeah that Avatar with the 24 chick is awesome its even better than Octopuses.

By the way, the aberdien cd is hard as fuck to find. i went to 3 different stores and no one had it. I would suggest looking for it if you want, but buy it online. The cd was on their purevolume site and it's amazing.

A bunch of killer fucking hardcore bands. Off the top of my head, Suicide File, Converge, and American Nightmare (I can use that name because they were recorded their contribution when they were still under the name). So yeah, I'm guessing it rules.
