Action Movies: Past & Present

Think back to the 80's and 90's and think of some of the best action movies you can. Predator, Ailens, Terminator, Die Hard..etc. I watch them all the time to this day and think they are completely amazing. If you watch them now though, you realize how weak the plots were, and how often movies came togther because the main character "owed someone a favor....and now he needs a favor" Now think about action movies of today. Terminator: Salvation, Transformers, Shoot Em Up, etc. They have the same weak plot, cheesy action movie feel but get a horrible wrap. Sometimes it's better to just be entertained than have to constantly think during a movie. When I go to see an action movie, I don't always want a in depth plot. Maybe it's jsut me...am I alone in this, or do others think that these movies that got bad reviews would have got better reviews 10-20 years ago.

and that is all I can think off.

I want more of these kind of movies. It has been way too long since a great action movie has been made.

Movies like Aliens, Terminator, and Die Hard are some of the best action flicks ever made, you can't compare em to shit like Transformers.
