I intentionally made this poll close before August 11th, when the Thrice album and first Brand New single are supposed to hit iTunes. It should be interesting to come back to this later and see how many people stand by what they said.

Thrice was really open about the recording process with all the blogs and everything, whereas Brand New has been more low key and mysterious, so for that sheer factor I'm more excited to hear Daisy. So I guess that'll be better? I don't know, I'm excited for both though.

Not to mention Thrice's response to the leak was very understanding and appreciative, whereas Brand New freaked out over the release of the album title. That says something about what each band really cares about.

i refuse to pick a side because im excited for both releases, but Thrice is just a better band talent-wise IMO so i might be a tad more excited for their album...but i still picked the 3rd option because im curious to hear what BN comes out with.

You should never let hype effect what you think of an album. That's dumb. And when did Brand New freak out over the album title? They seemed pretty "whatever" about it if you ask me.

Okay my bad, BN's management got pissed off about the release of the sell sheet, not even the leak of the album. That's even more childish.
