Man needs an official thread. Overall i find that he is greatly under appreciated and his exclusion from the rock and roll hall of fame is a joke.

I haven't been able to get into anything he's done, is there a really good Stooges album to start with?

Iggy rules. I only have his first two solo records. Recommend some of his other stuff. (not stooges)

Kill City isn't a Stooges album and that one was pretty good. A lot of his later studio albums are rather hit or miss so a collection of good songs is more in order but i like Brick by Brick a lot.

I'm more of a Stooges fan but I have loads of respect for Iggy Pop.

Yeah, I've yet to give Iggy Pop or the Stooges a real listen yet. I suppose I should fix that sometime relatively soon.

Early Stooges was all that mattered
