Jeff King just won his 4th Iditarod Race, which I can't even comprehend wanting to do it twice, let alone win it 4 times. King previously won the race in 1993, '96 and '98.
The race officially started March 5 in Willow. The ceremonial start was held a day earlier in downtown Anchorage. It commemorates a dogsled relay in 1925 that carried serum 674 miles from Nenana to Nome to stop a diphtheria outbreak.
I believe we've all seen Iron Will, which can attest to the difficulty of this race

Now, I know basically nothing about dog sleeding aside from the fact that 3 Dog Night got their name from sleeping habits of mushers...but I figured someone on here has to know more
