Say Anything (http://www.sayanythingmusic.com) has begun writing new material for their next full length, which is tentatively titled ... In Defense of the Genre and is scheduled for release in early 2007. According to Max, "It's going to be a lot more about what happens once you've gained an identity, rather than searching for one, which is what the last record was about. This one's about knowing who you are and how to love with it." He also added that the record is about "being confident in yourself, but it's also more about people and personal relationships. A lot of the past record is all about me and my problems. This one will be about observations of other people." So like Say Anything...Is A Real Boy was $9.99 at Best Buy last week. So on a mountain of unreal hype here, I bought it.

I assumed that since Brand New was doing college shows in April that their album was coming out in the summer...so I'm assuming them.

Haha. What an incredibly petty thing to nitpick about. You act like it changes the music on the disc because they are going to have a second cd with ellipses in the title.

Everyone has been going on about them forever. Its amazing and I can honestly say Say Anything is my favorite band. This record has a great chance to be the best record of 2007...just becasue Max is a genius.

Well i dont know if the band name comes from the movie "Say Anything..." but if it is, the ellipsis before the cd title is just probably the continuation of the title of that movie.

Well at least we have something to look forward to already in 2007. And it might actually end up being released BEFORE the new TEN album.
Until then, its not like anyone has got tired of their last album yet. I really dont think that is possible.
