Hey, remember Further Seems Forever?
It seems like they don't get enough credit for the influence they've given to the current scene.
Their first album, which was also the only one with the fantastic Chris Carrabba; who later formed Dashboard Confessional right after his stint with FSF. Then the second album that had such awesome songs as "The Sound" and "I Am" and served as a debute for their newer singer Jason Gleason. Then their third and less successful album, with a singer (Jon Bunch) that was less of a fan favorite and eventually sparked the decline in the band's career.
Then just before the band's break-up, they suprised everyone with a one off reunion at the 2005 Bamboozle Festival with original vocalist Chris Carraba.
This band is one band I miss and it seems that they could've done so much more. I think they could've been a stronger band if Carraba or Gleason stayed with them. They might even have still been a band. If they kept Gleason they might have even fit perfectly with today's current scene. This band should definitly consider a reunion... just minus Bunch.
What are your thoughts on this band?
