This is a rough demo, let me know what you think and what I should change. Thanks in advance. http://www.sendspace.com/file/xrjmkl

We lay under bridges and wait until dawn.
Keep finding forgiveness stretched over the floor.
The dust never settled along with our trust
for something sincere over something to lust.

Oh I've seen cities burn, towers ignited,
Love to be earned, but will always be quiet.
Unless our dreams get filled up with smoke,
We won't hide behind these lonely bones.

We are bending like branches,
up towards the sky.
Sun be our savior, light us back to life.

We are more than illusions among satellites.
Keep us content when we're too weak to fight.
Flood out the valley with metal and fear,
keep all the longing close to our peers.

We've walked farther wounded, stomped out the tears.
Erased all our shadows, 'til love disappeared.
Secrets of gold keep us from our homes.
Though the terror within time breaks our hope.

This has a huge, huge, huge Thrice vibe. And you still stole my line. And holy shit you've improved a ton. Writing some really solid songs now, and solid lyric work as well.

I'll go more in depth later, and with a couple more listens.

I know I've been listening to The Alchemy Index and Beggars. I did steal your line and for that I am saddened. Thanks I've been trying hard to expand my "sound." It's difficult transtioning, but fun. Thanks a ton for reading and listening James.

No, I mean that in a good way (the Thrice-vibe). It's not like you're blatantly ripping them off or anything; it's just very reminiscent of them.

Then I'm overwhelming flattered, considering I love Thrice. Thanks a lot again James.
