Sweater Club plays progressive rock with ska influences a' la RX Bandits or Monty, or even a punk rock version of Chicago (who are sick by the way).

Bio
Sweater Club 2 years ago with two defining principles: originality and creativity. With that in mind, its only natural that the 6 members of what would be Sweater Club would choose music as the application of both. Coming together through jazz combos, marching bands, and cabins in the woods (dont ask), these fellow students realized that music was far too important to all them to continue letting mainstream mediocrity be its defining element. As a result, Sweater Club have brandished a style all their own, an intricate blend of rock, jazz, punk, ska, etc, etc. Their signature sound has landed them on stage with San Fran prog rockers Facing New York (http://www.myspace.com/facingnewyork), PunkNews Records prodigies Somerset, new reggae sensations Pepper, Satori (http://www.myspace.com/satorimusic) (featuring members of RX Bandits), GDB (http://myspace.com/gdb)(from Vegas), Action Rockers Monty (http://www.myspace.com/montyrock), and ska legends The Toasters, just to name a few.
