a 4 piece technical metal band from Vancouver B.C with influences ranging from Botch to refused to the buddy rich big band. A Textbook Tragedy has played the last two years of warped tour in various canadian cities, has toured western canada twice and recently completed their first western u.s tour. They will be embarking on a 7 week canadian/eastern u.s tour from march 19th - may 6th. The band released their debut full length "A Partial Dialogue Between Ghost And Priest" independently on july 28th, 2005 and it was chosen as the best independent release of 05' by Absolutepunk's Scott Weber as well as Brian from punknews.org. The CD is currently available on smartpunk and at their shows.

This album is leaps and bounds above most any other unsigned band you'll hear. I certainly hope they're holding out for a good record deal, because if they haven't gotten offers yet then you A&R guys don't have ears.

I have a lot more free time now that I'm not as busy with school, so it's definitely on my list of shit to review.

awesome man...i'll keep my eyes open for it! You still have to see us live...I think our next western u.s trip (or seattle stop at least) will be june or early july...i'll keep you posted.
