yeah well the only way Mexico could advance is if they held USA scoreless and beat them in the 13th Inning. USA's only way of making it was if they beat Mexico...Japan's only way was if Mexico beat the USA and Mexico beat USA 2-1

-I think cause Clemens didn't want to end his career on a sour note, he'll play this year for a couple months.

IMHO, The World Baseball Classic is a waste of time, I haven't paid the least bit of attention to it at all.

although, LOTHT > Guts > any other nick show.

IMHO, The World Baseball Classic is a waste of time, I haven't paid the least bit of attention to it at all.i think it's actually fun to watch. nice to see what prospects from other countries are doing too.

alot better then spring training games where people really dont care.

It's a shame. Losing in a sport we invented. The USA teams are way too arrogant to realize that other countries are more competitive, have more pride in their countries, and believe in team work.

Who cares...
Not me. again, someone call me for an international baseball tournament when the olympics roll around. I might watch then instead of "International Spring Training where the games are limited to a certain number of innings because this is such a farce we're not going to take it serious and play it when no one's in the right condition to play".

Team work is hard to come by in baseball, its an individual sport.
