Does anyone else think it is crazy that everyone is celebrating the life of a wonderful christian saint by getting drunk? I find the idea appalling and offensive. Idiots should not ruin a christian holiday by getting trashed.

We celebrate the birth of the Saviour with kids demanding presents, and His death with chocolate candies hidden around a house. These things happen.
