Not as "new" as "Let's Go"/"New Perspective", but Set Your Goals "This Will Be the Death of Us".

Damned If I Do Ya is the only one I really like out of those.

Going with Panic! my friends. Brendon Urie's voice could sell me anything.

Cartel, cuz for me, they do no wrong.

As much as I love All Time Low, I have to go with Love Drunk. Only a fool would deny that Love Drunk will only make Boys Like Girls bigger. Casting a Disney chick in the music video is a smart business decision as well. Damned If I Do Ya is the best song on the list, followed by Let's Go. Ignorance is laughably bad.

I haven't heard Ignorance yet, and can't get into any of the others besides New Perspective. I just don't feel the same about pop punk like I used to.

Jesus...ATL? Really? Paramore's new song blows ATL's away.
i dont think ive heard any of those songs

New Perspective. Damned If I Do Ya is decent, but I despise the Oh oh ohs at the beginning of the chorus. New Perspective, however, has managed to stay in my head for days.

is this what we call pop punk now
like i know genres evolve but theres litterally no element in any of those bands songs that reflect punk rock
its pop rock, please people realise this
it just kinda irritates me and offends genuine pop punk bands that ive listened 2 for 10 years
All these songs fucking blow.

I think Love drunk is terrible. But I do agree casting that disney girl as a smart choice.

Damned If I Do Ya is actually one of my least favorite songs off of Nothing Personal.
Love Drunk saved itself from being buried in my library with the ending, but it's still disappointing.
I'm kind of ashamed to be completely ignorant of a new Cartel song.
I'm still kind of so-so about New Perspective. Brendon's voice could save just about any song, but the song just didn't grab my attention.
Ignorance is easily the best song (that I know) on this list. It's showing a maturing Paramore by showcasing improving muscianship, deeper lyricism, and smart song structure. It gets my vote.

Good for you.

Overstatement of the year.

They will become exponentially bigger due to that.

how is that an overstatement? The ATL record is good, but that first single sounds like Bowling for Soup. All I'm saying is Paramore beats them by a longshot.

First of all, I don't know how you can say that Weightless (the first single from NP) sounds like Bowling For Soup. Neither does DIIDY.
Ignorance, meanwhile sounds like anything from AWKIF, only less polished in terms of production.

I was actually talking about "Damned If I Do Ya"...the single referred to in this poll.

Again, I do not hear the similarities between that song and BFS. I hear Fall Out Boy and Butch Walker.

If you had put "Weightless" up, I would have gone with ATL. As is, I went with Paramore, just because I like Hayley's voice.
If this had been pop punk singles released this year, would have been "Listen to Your Friends," followed by "Sink Into Me."

Ignorance.
DIDY(DID) is catchy but holds nothing else to it.
Love Drunk has more appeal than any other BLG song to date, don't know if that says much or not.
Let's Go did nothing for me.

Is Let's Go really the single? Is Let's Go the shortest single in single history?

Cartel, cause they are the only decent band on there.
Seriously??? I mean they recorded an album in a fucking bubble for attention.
I'm not going to say Cartel sucks but to say they are the only decent band is a joke. Have you been doing coke with Ryan Ross?

Yeah it's borderline offensive dammit! Now I gotta clarify that I like 90's pop punk. I shouldn't have to change the genre name for them, I was here first!

most of these arent pop punk, who the hell made this poll?!
a signature of pop punk is catchy, melodic riffs over a hardcore backup guitar. for a perfectly executed example of what im trying to describe, listen to the into of NFG's my friends over you.
that is pop punk.
oh oh oh's are not pop punk. neither is the shit on love drunk. panic at the disco has never been and never will be pop punk.
the songs on this poll should be classified under powerpop, becuase theres no trace of punk in any of them. i do like that paramore song, though.
