nah, i'd be more pissed at not trading the 1st pick last year and wasting it the woman known as alex smith.

i think he'll last the year because if he doesn't he's basically out of the league.
Dallas will be in the playoff race, and then T.O. will make another insane comment around week 13, forcing Dallas to cut him.
He will play extremely well though. Always does. He'll probably get on TV proclaiming that Bledsoe is a better QB than McNabb after the first few weeks of the year, only to jump ship on him later.

that's the most worthy personal foul ever taken. i'm usually not for cheap shots, but in a situation like that, go for it.

he explained that last year before he even thought of coming to the cowboys, it wasn't a thing mocking the cowboys he said that he was showing he was the star.

whatever his thinking was, that's showing up an entire franchise.
i'm generally not too into the td celebrations that go on anymore. but i don't mind the ones that are more for fun and aren't intended to show somebody else up. running all the way to the 50 and doing your thing on the other teams logo, that's too fucking far in my book.
I'll give him to halfway 2nd season or after 2nd season there.

As annoyed as I am with Owens, it doesn't change the fact that Roy Williams is a dirty player.

They took out the horse collar tackle, so how is he a dirty player?
- Jeff
Just because the tackle was legal doesn't mean it wasn't dirty.

But you said Williams is a dirty player. I'm not talking about a tackle that happened 2 seasons ago.
- Jeff
Roy Williams uses the horse collar tackle more than any player in the NFL. I'm not just talking about the T.O. tackle.
I think that the horse collar tackle is a dirty tackle.
So, I think that Roy Williams is a dirty player.

there's a difference between a hard hitter and a dirty player.c'mon, that tackle is closer to pulling hair than an actual tackle. It's as dirty as Barry Bonds' urine.

first off, it's a tackle. it's not like he could hit him from a clean angle and instead opted to horse collar him. he got the part of him he could and brought him down. that's what a defender is supposed to do. back in the day, it was legal to tackle people. before the nfl got overly sensitive about the contact that comes along with the game.
second off, barry bonds has never failed a drug test. so your analogy doesn't work. if you feel it does, there's a million other threads you can state your case in.

When did I ever say that the tackle should be illegal? I just said it was dirty. The horse collar tackle, more often than not, injures the player who was tackled. Yet Roy Williams still does it. It's just like Darius Kasparitus and his low body checks. Are they legal? Yes. Do they cause injuries very often? Yes. In my opinion, both are dirty players because they have mastered a technique that often causes injuries. It has nothing to do with legality. But then again, it seems like some of you guys enjoy watching Eagles get injured, so you let your bias get in the way. If Roy Williams did the horse collar to Tom Brady and put him out for the season, I'm sure mikeford would have a different opinion.
This is all opinion though. If you don't want to think that the horse collar is a dirty tackle, then obviously you won't think that Roy Williams is a dirty player.

I don't understand what anyone is talking about. People are calling Roy Williams a dirty player. If the tackle that makes him a dirty player is illegal, how is he a dirty player? If you wanna say he WAS a dirty player, I can understand that.

Because thats not JUST why he was a dirty player, there were other reasons. Watch his old games, he's a GREAT player, but he's dirty. You can't fault him for it though, it's how he learned to play. He STILL horse-collar tackles, a lot of players do. But it's only a penalty if the flag gets thrown. The refs are at fault with that rule- either CALL the penalty, or take it out of the rule book. Any rule should be removed if it's not enforced as it should be.
Just like the Ty Law rule of contact after five-yards. New England used to be all over WR's and punish them up and down the field, just because there's a penalty for it now doesn't mean it doesn't happen, it's just done more discreetly.
