there's minor differences. nothing major.
it's basically just the equivalent of a minor league. it consists mostly of younger players or players deep on depth charts. keeps everybody fresh and shows what they can do in game situations even if they don't get to play through most of the season.
it's pretty cool, cause a lot of players that were awesome in college then ya never heard from them again show up.

I remember when this was the World Football League. No lie, I got so into the first season, I think I was like 7 or something and the US had a team. Barcelona Dragons, Frankfurt Galaxy, London Monarchs, Berlin something. Are those still teams? They seem to stand out to me.

i remeber that. espn televised some of the games. i think that league folded and the nfl bought it. or something like that. i remember those teams though.
the teams now are the amsterdam admirals, the cologne centurians, rhein fire, frankfort galaxy, berlin thunder and the hamburg sea devils.
it's pretty bad football, but it's football.

berlin thunder is a bad-ass team name. should have called it the berlin blitzkreig, though. haha.
edit: doesn't drew henson play for rhein fire?

yeah, he does. and so does the chang or ching, the dude that threw for all those yards at hawaii. they probably have the two best qbs in the league on their team.

wow. i wondered where that guy went(qb from hawaii). some team from the NFL probably sent him there. good to see he's still playing.
as for henson, i'm speechless haha.

I saw Henson, then two bigger scrubs in another game. NFL Network aired the season last year, and there might have been 3 exciting games at most.
