Sugarcult (http://www.sugarcult.com)'s new album is scheduled for release in late July or early August.

I suggest a KY jelly wrestling match to settle this.

I really didn't care for Palm Trees and Powerlines besides the singles, I bought it after Memory was stuck in my head forever, but it was a dissapointment in my eyes.

For some reason, as lame as they really are, I like these guys. They just sort of... write songs, with no gimmicks.

I hope its July, because then it gets to become a summer album (and usually sugarcult sound like summer), rather then late august. Either way, I'm going to have quite the collection of albums when i finally drive myself to school next year :)

I'm excited to hear some new stuff soon.

PTAPL was a pretty good album. It wasn't no Start Static, but it still had a lot of really good songs.

I agree with whoever said Tim can't write a bad song.

They have always been solid. Start Static was phenomenal, and PTAPL had its ups-and-downs. Both were enjoyable, and this will be good.

It was an ignorant statement, so I called you on it.

Act intelligent and "I'll stay the fuck out of it" as you so elegantly put it.

The fact that saosin has as much success as they do with so little out proves they probably won't flop at all.

That's just using common sense though. Who uses that anyway?

Do you like to think your some badass on website boards? honestly who cares about the bands, you like them or you dont. I just would like to know why you waste your time to come and post on this board, and then a couple hours later waste your time more to come back and see what people are saying and try to sound like a bigger hard ass...honestly, if you say when will this band break up and waste your time to check this thread obviously wont be soon, cuz you yourself look at news about them. Anyways Sugarcult is alright, nothing special but Saosin is the most over-hyped band ever, and yes their album will flop because ive never found someone who liked them out of this website that i played them to, nor has circa survive being doing very well ither...but i hope to hear back from the hard ass you are telling me something like you are fucking stupid, etc. and then finish by calling me a dickhole

Best thing I've seen posted on this board thus far.

Back on topic...

I didn't even realize they were recording, so I'm really happy to hear the album will be out this summer. It will be interesting to see what direction they go in this time.

Have you heard Palm Trees and Powerlines? I mean, Start Static was excellent pop-punk. But PTAP was just plain blah. But I haven't lost faith. I'm counting on this album being damn good.

You're a pop/punk fan. Not a music fan. They're not going to write another Start Static. PTAPL was more of their older sound. The new album will be amazing.
