Depends on what kind of stream it is (if you want the source file) -- otherwise just record from your soundcard: totalrecorder.com

You mean like myspace and stuff? Try file2hd.com

Paste in the URL, put audio only and go.

the url to what? the myspace? 'cause i'm just looking for "your guardian angel" by this deafening silence (http://www.myspace.com/thisdeafeningsilence) and "love story" by count your blessings. (http://myspace.com/cyblessings)

Yeah, use file2hd.com and just paste the myspace url. It'll come up with a list of the media files on the myspace page. Right click on what you want, save link as, and you've got the songs.

File2hd doesn't work right now.

It really sucks.

I like mp3mymp3. Just started using it today. Got the arrival MJ cover for anyone who wanted it.

By "it doesn't work right now" do you mean that it says "invalid url"?

but the format seems nice. i have crappy internet, so the songs stop and go all the time. i figured it would be easier if there were something that would get the songs for me, and i could download them without all these pauses in between.

No, meaning it won't work from myspace right now.

Have you used it within the past month?

No, this is the first time I've heard of it.

They changed the myspace player, so now it doesn't work. They've been working on a "beta" for the past month and it's weird, since the beta worked but you need to pay to use it more than once.

Oh. Do you know of any other sites that do the "put the url and get the song" thing?

No. It's really fucking depressing.

Making my blogging life much harder.

For full albums you want you can easily google "download x artist y album" and there's DL links. sites like mp3boo.com and many others do that.

Most singles you can get that way too.

Although for smaller bands that won't work. I use mp3mymp3, which I just found today. It allows me to record from my soundcard, allowing quality to still be pretty good. Only thing is that you need to have no other noise on the computer at the time and you have to sit through the whole thing.

I know. I used beemp3.com for awhile but then I discovered it was illegal and I felt bad about using it. The new myspace player sucks though. You used to be able to download right from it, but not anymore. Lame.

Thank you so much. I needed a new website like this just for that exact song.
