Metalcore band looking for pro recording studios in the VA/MD area

Basically we're looking to record a 4 or 5 song professional-sounding EP. We're hoping to spend $1000 or less for this. Anywhere in the VA/MD/DC areas is fair game. I am not really interested in responses from rookie home studio producers, but rather intermediate to expert level professional producers with professional studio set ups.

So, if there are any bands or musicians out there who have recorded with or know of any studios that fit the bill for a metalcore band, let me know.
