I'm looking for any good jazz. I'm into Miles Davis and Mahavishnu Orchestra, but I'm truly open to anything. If you have any suggestions, it'd be greatly appreciated. The only reason why I'm even bothering posting this here is because I'm bored and am curious to see if any of you guys will give me anything good. Thank you in advance.

Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band, Stockton Helbing, Dave Brubeck. Those are my current three favorites. It's a shame this won't get many responses.

Awesome guys, thanks! I got some Bill Evans and Charles Mingus awhile ago, so I'm glad to hear about other albums of theirs to check out. I'll definitely be checking the rest out. If anyone has any other recs, let me know.

Dave Brubeck
Duke Ellington
John Scofield
and I'm assuming you already have all the greats.
Some ambient jazz stuff:
HiM (this is not the band HIM, which is a completely different story entirely.)
Symbiosis Orchestra sometimes has some good jazz improv stuff.
Jaga Jazzist is sort of an electronic pseudo-jazz deal. Not bad, and fun to listen to.
