bronson arroyo could be jamie moyer in ten years.

i'll take jay buhner(wily mo) for the next ten years, then trade him for jamie moyer(bronson arroyo).

I can't believe "we" just pulled this off. bloody ridiculous trade for the reds. With that said, I have lost even more respect for The sox front office. The home town discount Arroyo gave the sox was stand up, and then with the relatively low salary the sox flip him for a younger kid. Again, great deal for the sox, but wow was that fucked up by the FO.

Red Sox front office pulls fast one on arroyo, after signing him for a discount, and telling him they had no intention of trading him. This seems quite unethical...

nice trade. bad OPB/BB rate, but at 24, something that can be worked on. Sucks for Arroyo with the home town discount and all, but I dont think there was ever a verbal or written agreement that they wouldnt trade him if he took the deal. Besides, he'll get a starting spot in cincy.

this could effect future deals, but thats the only worry I have.

Pena kills LHP, something trot doesn't.

Pena was probably going to play first base since they traded Casey. Kearns had a spot regardless.
