Which is worse?

Which supposed "music" channel is worse, as of today? While there was a point where both were respectable, both MTV and VH1 have gone to God knows where, and are now two of the worst channels on television. My vote goes to VH1. Their reality shows are just...ugh.

Very true. However, people don't necessarily have to be brainwashed by what they see on TV. Sadly, they do, but I'm going off what personally annoys me more. Maybe that's the wrong way to go about it.

i would say that vh1 is more annoying, but mtv is more sickening. i pity vh1. i hate mtv, haha.

IMF was awesome. I was never lucky enough to have it though. I think it just got canceled, due to lack of response. Which is sad, because if they would've given that channel to more carriers, I think it would've eventually blown up.

VH1 Classic is one of my favorite channels.
MTV has no redeeming channels. I get MTV2, MTV Hits, MTV Jams, and MTV Tr3s. I don't think I've ever kept any of them on for longer than 4 minutes.

I said VH1 because the depths that their programming goes to is far, far worse than what MTV has put out. Plus MTV does have some legit stuff like True Life every now and then

IMF introduced me to countless bands before I starting finding them at concerts and online. I loved that channel. Sucks I don't have it anymore...

well let's just drop the whole "music' aspect of this question and go with flat out....which channel is worse?

VH1 obviously. There isn't a single show on VH1 that I like and they've really never been a great distributor of music anyhow so they're basically just a lesser "E!". MTV has had a powerful influence for a long time...and for a while it was actually an enjoyable channel to watch (entertainmently/musically).

Now does MTV support the stupid HILLS shit? Yes, and I truly hate it for ruining the youth of our nation....what else is on other than hills and real world anyways?

Why aren't there more shows dedicated to live performances, I feel as if those would be extremely popular to watch...and a great way for bands to promote their 'great shows'.
