Who else got ruined by the George Mason and Wichita State runs. As well as Pitt losing, I'm out a decent amount of money.

And in sets depression.

i'm in 2nd place out of like 170 in the official absolutepunk bracket and I'm winning 2 of my facebook pools and i'm in 2nd in the other. So I'm doing just fine.

i had witchita st. going to the sweet 16 by beating tennessee, they didn't screw me up. it was me trying to have faith in the big ten by picking ohio state to stay hot. and kansas fucked me up too.
but i've still got texas/uconn finals, so hopefully that pans out.

Yes, damn George Mason. Wichita isn't too surprising but damn George Mason. AND BRADLEY.

Damn Bradley to hell.

I had Pitt and UNC in the Final Four, bold move on Pitt's selection, but it's hard to pick whose going to go hot and cold.

I had Wichita St. in the Sweet 16... But I had Iowa and Kansas in the Final Four. Blargh.

I had Iowa going far too. Kansas was highly overrated this year, as shown by their performance, but whatever. It's March Madness. Without the upsets, it wouldn't be madness.

if by 'highly overrated' you mean Big 12 Regular Season Conference Champions and Big 12 Tournament Conference Champions despite being an extremely young team with their key positions being filled by underclassmen, then yes, they're overrated.

Bradley is the biggest sleeper and I'm afraid memphis is gonna smoke them which would give the winner of UCLA- Gonzaga a much harder game :\. That would be amazing if Bradley could pull off another upset beating Memphis

So, UCLA is a Pac 10 regular season and tournament Champs and 5 freshman and 2 sophomores play a lot of minutes. We didn't get bumped out by a nobody.

Kansas lost to Bradley. Bradley hasn't even hit the Sweet 16 for like 60 years or something. Come on.

ucla beat belmont and barely scrapped past alabama. bradley > alabama. bradley lost in the semi's of what could be argued as the 3rd or 4th toughest conference in the country, the MVC, which, by the way, had only 6 of it's 10 teams with 20+ wins. Which for a mid major conference is outstanding.

but bradley's such a fluke, you know, beating pittsburgh. pitt's no good either though. only the 4th best team in the nations toughest country. Pitt's overrated, too, I guess. and memphis would be overrated, too, if they lose to bradley.

I'll be glad when the tourney is over and idiots dissipate from the sports forum.

Hey, I didn't say Pitt was overrated. I'm pissed that Kansas had to lose to Bradley. I would've much rather watched a Kansas/Pitt matchup than the Bradley one.

And, I would've much preferred a Pittsburgh/UCLA matchup since Pitt was Howland's old team.

Now stop taking things so personally.

start making sense. kansas wasn't overrated and it wasn't 'proven' because they lost to a bradley team who deserves to be where they are.

It doesn't matter what you feel about Kansas because the fact is that they lost to a 13 seed and got bounced first round.

you do not know anything about mvc basketball, so just go away, you're talking about yourself in the latter part of your comment.

bradley has stepped up quite a bit in the tourney, which is what it's all about, but in the regular season they were far from impressive, losing to southern illinois twice, including the mvc championship game and wichita state twice as well. bradley is not > than alabama. bradley has played out of their minds, and if they had to do everything they just did over again, it wouldn't happen. but, regardless, i am happy to see two mvc teams doing so greatly.

as for wichita state, george mason has already beat them once this year, but i dont see a repeat happening. i was fortuante enough to catch wsu vs siu when i was home earlier this year. siu won the game, but wichita state looked highly impressive, but not just any team can come into siu arena and win easily.

Haha, don't argue with the guy. It's too time consuming. I'll just enjoy the games and watch my Bruins beat out Gonzaga.

I lost money because of them. Kansas and Michigan St. losing killed me.

I had Wichita State in the Sweet 16.

I had George Mason beating Michigan St and losing to UNC.

I had UNC in the Elite 8.

But it's okay, I have 10 out of the Sweet 16 left, 6 of my Elite 8 and all of my Final Four - and I'm only 5 points out of 1st in my money pool.

yea, I have 11 of 16 6 of 8 and 4 of 4, but I'm second in my money pool. But I have uconn winning and he has duke. I'm confident.

I had Witchita State, but not GM. Also, Kansas losing fucked me hard, Illinois too.

I've basically gotten to the point where I know my brackets are hopeless

Actually, Kansas was over-rated by the fact that 3 of the 6 ESPN guys had KU in the final four. I had attempted to avoid the hype, but even I got suckered in a little because I had them pegged as a Sweet 16 team since about mid February. They didn't play well, Bradley did. But, no way were they a legit Final Four threat.

i thought they were a legit final four threat. though young, they could play and beat just about anyone in the country.
