The big news networks are making such a big deal about a few casualties. People are saying that the war strategy needs to be redone. Yet we have taken nearly 1/2 of Iraq and we are within a few miles of Baghdad. How does everyone think the war is going so far? On schedule?

whats that Bush? The war may last longer than the proposed week that you suggested earlier??? Oh crap, better kill Saddam before your ratings start to drop faster than clinton's pants.

its stupid, as of last friday the US had lost 14 soldiers to enemy fire. 9 of those were from Iraqis that faked surrendering and attacked them. 14 soldiers and we are within spitting distance of Baghdad. i think the media is being retarded, its a war, people are gonna die, 14 is an amazingly low number, we lost roughly 150 in the last gulf war in 4 days of ground combat, and we've lost 14 as of last friday, about 10 days of ground combat.

there have been a frightening number of non combat casualties (ie: chopper crashes, ect.) Also dont forget the british casualties, which are almost as high as the American ones. But this is the reality of war, people die.

sorry it was his cabinet, and YOU on numerous ocasions

his ratings are high because we are at war. americans might not agree with what he is doing, but we have a strange tendency to follow our leaders in a time of conflict.

you were preaching about how we would roll into baghdad and have the entire country loving us in under two weeks and more or less wouldn't have to fire a single shot.

most people expected a quick war based on the last gulf war, but the administration, and especially the military has always said it would not be quick. also, we aren't even 14 days into the war, most wars have taken years, quick ones took months, we've only been at it 2 weeks.

Good point. Our military has travelled quite a distance in a hostile foreign land. I think that many people expected less resistance from the Iraqis.

Man i really dont remimber saying anything like that, but maybe i did ?, but also this war will be short not in weeks or months but in comparison to other wars in the 20 century it will be very short.
