depite the fact i see lots of english people and other none americans on this site, every 'football' thread is american football. (no offence) so here you can put down your dream team of players from world football/soccer.
p.s. i'm not expecting a big turn out for this & all nationalities welcome seeing all you gotta do is put down names.

Defenders: Gary Neville, Sol Campbel , Ashley Cole, Rio Ferdinand
Mid: Zinedine Zidane, Franck Ribery, Michael Ballack, Frank Lampard
Strikers: Thierry Henry, Luis Figo,

Neville...?
There is so much clarity and depth in your post that my brain is not capable of conjuring any sort of response other than an analysis of said post.

I don't expect you to understand since you put Garry Neville on your dream team. You should probably just give up on sports...

yeah, i agree. But he is a great player (well was) and his trophy cabinet proves that. He's not a well regarded player but he has done a lot for club and country, great full back in my opinion. Not the best but he's not someone you can overlook.

Considering that I've been completely financially independent since I was 17, and will be 21 in a matter of just about 2 months, I believe it does.

Because it was calling for a "dream team", which does not indicate any other rules besides a team you would "dream" of seeing play together. As you will also notice, I posted the first team, hence, no format had yet been established. ;-)
I tried to keep it as recent as possible. Most of these players are still playing.
lol So it's like an all-time-greats but really just some-recently-retired-stars-who-used-to-be-the-best-and-some-of-the-current-stars squad?
Your team is caught in some kind of limbo I can't quite describe.

If you guys would like to coach your own team, you should create a team here www.trophymanager.com/index.php?ref=65131 (http://absolutepunk.net/www.trophymanager.com/index.php?ref=65131). I have been playing the game since season 6 and we are currently playing season 16. It is extremely competitive especially in the U.S. league. This is my favorite 11:
---------------Casillas----------------
-Clichy--Marquezr-Terry-A. Cole--
-----------Xavi------Iniesta-----------
--Kaka----------------------C.Ronaldo
----------Messi-----Luis Fabiano------
