its good, i dont get why people keep saying it sucks....
lyrically yeah...chris crisci hasn't ever been amazing, but the music makes up for it.

though i like this: if cold is home than i am winter

i think the lyrics on this album are absolutely spectacular. they fit the song/story/album so well. you dont always need complex things to paint a beautiful picture. less is more.

People often dont like abstraction. When they hear music, the masses tend to like being told how someone feels, or hearing cohesive stories about things they can relate to.
The Appleseed Cast tends to paint a picture, both lyrically and musically. thats hard for some people to relate to. Its challenging and people just cant hold on to that long enough to fully appreciate it. so.. what happens is someone says "it sucks" because its not about losing a girlfriend or fighting with authority figures.
art is sorely missed in the music world

sunlit ascending was my favorite song the lines 'human, you're my pawn now' gave me chills.

Nice, I can tell we see eye to eye a lot over this album.

this is album of the year in my opinion. The people that think this album sucks are the people that like Two Conversations. Although two conversations was a great album, it was a lot more straight forward than their other stuff. This album seems like a cross between mare vitalis and low level owl. I liked your review and I'm glad they're finally getting exposure on this site.

Yeah, man. Definately. Nice work on your review, too, by the way.
