J dig brought up something I thought would be fun. How would you guys like to see some sports players or execs interviewed? It's just an idea, but I think we can make it happen. Give thoughts and feedback.

i could probably tell you first hand how that's going. he's been frustrated all year long, he had a decent rookie season for being a secound round pick. then with their off season pick ups, he just got sat at the end of the bench. it's been frustrating for him, but there are teams that know what his potential is. when he was drafted, he had been told by the kings they were picking him at 26th, then they picked kevin martin, which was not a bad idea. the kings, blazers, grizzlies, and magic have all contacted his agent. he signed a two year deal, with a third year team option. if the hawks dont keep him, it'll just be another one they let go for nearly nothing.

If I work with the Washington Capitals over the summer I'll try to get you an Ovechkin interview. Despite his bad english, he'd be the only one worth talking to. Or maybe Olaf Kolzig.

i could see about trying to interview steve hawkins, the western michigan basketball coach, who worked with and is friends with john wooden. plus, he's got good insight on being a moderately successful mid-major program, because before this season we had one of our best 3 year runs in school history. also, he just landed the first Mr. Basketball to ever commit to a MAC school.

also, though i don't know how many people would like to read it, i could try to get ahold of the wmu hockey coach to ask him how it is trying to recruit kids to the only D-1 hockey program that shares showers/locker rooms with the general public.

but i like this idea.

and yeah, find out what is on delonte's face, i would like to know, too.

You sure babcock knows how a GM works? Zing

Anyway, getting an interview with someone like Bill Simmons would be badass.

Bill Simmons would be pretty sweet.

I could get an interview with most of the Islanders, a ton of Lacrosse players, some of the yankee personel, a bunch of college players, and even the possibility of D'Brickshaw Ferguson.

maybe you're thinking of rob...

but pete sure as hell knows what he's doing.

even if it was rob...rob was the deciding factor in the wolves picking KG. he was mchales director of operations. mchale was ready to pick bryant reeves and rob finally convinced him to take KG.
