Fearless Records (http://www.fearlessrecords.com)' Punk Goes 90s compilation is now available for pre-order (http://www.smartpunk.com/fearless-index.php?mainFrame=http://www.smartpunk.com/product-fearless.php?item_id=17457). The release is set for a May 9th release date (Remind Me (http://www.absolutepunk.net/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=462&c=3)), and samples of a few tracks as well as the track listing can be found on the release's MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/punkgoes90s) page.
"How high" is my usual response to Fearless, but this doesn't impress me so far.

makes me feel old.... i miss 1997
agreed. it's shit like this that makes me feel super old
just looked at the tracklisting and it actually sounds like a really cool album. only song i'm not really excited for is the starting line bjork cover. a) i already have it, b) don't really get into it, c) there's a lot better songs out there they could have picked.
i.e. no doubt, smashing pumpkins, hootie and the blowfish (haha, but srsly)

Though I agree with ya'll that it makes me feel old...but atleast some of us can remember these songs on the radio from middle school and rock out like we use too! This is going to be one of my favourite cds I can tell already!

anyone else find it at least moderately amusing that the Starting Line is doing a Bjork cover?
hilarity ensues

I don't care for any of these bands really...but when you cover a song, I would think that usually you would make it your own and adapt it to your style. However, these samples, besides maybe Copeland, just seem to imitate the song they are covering. Just my thoughts.

What the hell happened to the "Iris" cover?! I was really looking forward to that....other than a handful of songs I'm pretty disappointed with this...
