yeah, i love the song as well. Thursday constantly delivers amazing music, whether on a CD or in a live show.

but i have heard alot of people saying things like "i hope the rest of the cd isnt like this."

I'm liking what I'm hearing so far. And I'm sure I'll get shit about this from huge Thursday fans but 'War All the Time' was not very impressive. It was like they were trying to make 'Full Collapse' all over again and you can't do that. Try something different. It sounds like that's what they're going for with their new stuff. Definitely a step in the right direction in my mind.

This is making me depressed.. I'm not a fan of this nor At This Velocity... my hopes for an amazing new Thursday album are getting worse and worse (maybe you guys will like it, but so far I'm just not a fan.)

with a comment like that you'll even get shit from people who aren't huge thursday fans. even if you don't like it better, war all the time definitely does not sound like full collapse. at least not enough to say it sounded like "full collapse all over again."

the intro is good...but after that its just bad

its pretty standard thursday. Nothing new or great, but its solid enough. Its the closest thing to a radio hit on the new album, it was a good single choice. Running from the rain could do alright on the radio too...maybe.

call me crazy but the whole cd didn't do anything for me.
"War all the Time" is my favorite of the three, with "Full Colapse" a close second.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the song, nor the album for that matter. Jet Black New Year was the best Thursday song written to date for numerous reasons, like actual songwriting, structure, musicality, intensity....these songs of this new record don't have that. I'm a Jersey guy, been listening to Thursday since I was in 9th grade 7 years ago. I've seen them live countless times and I can honestly say without regret this isn't their best work to date.
