Ross Robinson is apparently very interested in producing Armor for Sleep (http://www.absolutepunk.net/armorforsleep) on their new album (which is rumored (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=123078) to be coming out on Sire Records).

I hope they do not choose to work with him.
What an awkward pairing that would be.
I mean, Robinson did an amazing job producing Relationship of Command, but Armor for Sleep? Nah.

I dunno...production on AFS records always seems a little flat...esp. in the vocal area
Ross might bring out some pretty decent tunes from these guys

Didn't he do a Glassjaw album, too, or am I mistaken? E.Y.W.T.K.A.S.?

Talking to Ben in Buffalo he seemed very interested in what Ross was offering. But said some other offers were on the table.

Yeah he did do that one and pretty much anything Roadrunner put out back in the day
Suprisingly enough he also did the Cure's s/t. I didn't like it though

he did both glassjaw records i believe, which puts him very high up there in my book.....but he did just make FFTL the worst band ever, so his recent work scares me

if they don't take Ross then they are idiots. Ross is the fuckin man, he is the only guy who can take them to the next level.

i think that could be a kick ass combo, as long as he doesn't overproduce. the fftl album went a little overboard.

Didn't Ross do a Limp Bizkit album?
he did ATD-I's Relationship Of Command, as well as Burn Piano Island, Burn (the blood brothers) so I guess those 2 make up for the earlier records he produced (Slipknot, Limp Bizkit).
I'm probably the only one that hates afs, but their new demo sounds decent.

He produced the first Limp Bizkit album, so that is ok.
But even besides that, Robinson knows how to bring so much out of artists that he works with, and they would be foolish not to pass down an opportunity to work with him if they do in fact have the opportunity.

I have been constantly playing my rip of 'The way out is broken' demo sinces it was posted at xmas.
So far it has recieved 84 plays on my iTunes, and that is only including the time I didn't skip to the next track before it ran onto the next song...for a demo, it is stunning

Let's not forget that he produced some early A Static Lullaby demos, which were great. I started listening to them under the premise that they were the "new Ross Robinson band".
