I enjoy watching movies. I like everything about them from their stories to the directing to even the special effects. But what amazes me the most when I watch a movie is when an actor doesn't merely act his role, but instead he becomes his character.
What is even more fascinating is that these actors don't choose just one type of character, but a multitude of them, from the strangest, oddest of characters, to the most disturbing and horrifying villains. They are able to become their characters again and again, regardless of how different they are.
I want to create a poll that lists some of the actors who do this, but I'm going to need your help. Here's how it's going to work. Simply post in this forum with the name of an actor (or, if you want, actors) that you think should be in this poll. In about a week or two (depending on the number of replies), I'll go through the thread, select the ten most nominated actors, and create the poll.
Here are my nominations:
Daniel Day-Lewis (My Left Foot, Gangs of New York, There Will Be Blood)
Johnny Depp (Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, Pirates of the Caribbean)
Indoor Living

Christian Bale (The Prestige, American Psycho, Dark Knight)
Brad Pitt (Babel, Benjamin Button, Fight Club)
EDIT: This is a great poll idea, by the way.
Leonardo Dicaprio (What's Eating Gilbert Grape?, The Departed, The Aviator, The Basketball Diaries)

Maybe because most of his movies lately have been subpar or straight trash. He used too be really great but nowadays it looks like he choose roles soley for the $$$$
His films lately have been trash, but they don't change the quality of his performances in his previous films.

Faux-porno movie titles are the best. There should be a thread.
