Hellogoodbye Release In May/June?

At their show tonight, Hellogoodbye (http://www.hellogoodbye.net) said that their album is finished and should be coming out in May/June 2006.

If the Early November triple disc gets scheduled for a late summer release, I think that DTR can redeem themselves. That album is going to be fucking amazing...

Plus, with dates for Halifax and now hellogoodbye, I think this is a good sign...

Everytime this website says something about a release date from DTR (even when it is from the band) we never hear it from the label. Where are the news posters getting most of this info from?

When a band says gives a release date, you gotta take that with a grain of salt. Even though the album is done is takes time for things to be released. A distro company doesn't just let an album be released right away. The label has to get clearence from whoever is in charge, and the distro company can just as easily push it back as the label. There is more to it than the label being lazy, especially when DTR isn't. Negotitating contracts and getting everything squared away takes time, they are on their 3rd distro company in 3 years give DTR a fucking break. Stil my favorite label.
