According to an AP.net user (nateisbliss): Tom from The Starting Line (http://www.absolutepunk.net/thestartingline) broke sprained his finger while drumming at their show last night and their set was ended early. No more information is known at present or how this will effect the rest of the band's tour.

hopefully he can either play fri, someone can fill in for him, or they play all acoustic.

my trip to hawaii got delayed by 2 days so i could go to this tour...kinda.

they played one acoustic song tonight while tom was getting checked out, but then they cut the set short by like 6 or 7 songs

I'm going to both shows Thursday and Friday. I would be mighty heartbroken if they were to not play.

I think it would already have been anounced if they were actually cancelling dates.

I saw them last month, they were pretty good.

drummers tend to sprain their fingers all the time. If he can't continue to play with a pain, which actually won't hinder him anyway, i don't know what to say.

Must be a lack of passion for the fans or something, but a sprain or flu has never stopped me from playing balls out for our friends and fans, if we have any out there.......

Spraining a finger hurts really bad, especially if your playing for an hour and a half.

dude, i'm going to be on buses and in cars for like 16-17 hours to get there, Foucart for even longer. think of how choked we'll be if they cancel.

that sucks, but it happens to a lot of drummers. usually they stick it out. it must've been bad.

Good thing I'm not seeing them til April 10th, however, I will be jealous of an acoustic set, if they play one.

umm well....a sprained finger huh? I wonder how long that would put him out...I am slated to see them on Saturday....and if they can't play that would suck, but I would be REALLY pissed if the show got cancelled and I couldnt see Cartel

An acoustic set is a great idea though;) add in some the drama summer and selective attention to the set? oh man! haha

if you're taking a 16 hour trip to see anyone, especially the starting line , then i think you have worse problems than a cancelled show.

i was going to conclude my statement with "cue the boys night out insult." i guess i should have.

difference is, driving 16 hours to see a show is worse than liking boys night out.

and boys night out is awesome. sit on it, potsy...

Well, even if he did stick it out that wouldn't be the smartest thing it could get worse.
And if it say broke while he was playing then he might be out for a while losing the band/'s lots of money.

not only is he a great drummer, but he's a cool ass dude too. my friend and I had a nice conversation with him after the first date on the tour, he's real nice.

i'm going to meet up with weebs, gabe, foucart and (possibly) Jason, and we're all going to go see the show together. I'm personally going mainly for GAD and Copeland. Also, I don't know if you realize it, but it's 9 hours of travel for me to see any show, and i rarely get to go to shows of bands I enjoy. I love GAD, and so i will take a bus to go see them.
