Well are they? A Fire Inside sounds like a Christian name and the one lyric in Girl's Not Grey says I found God's grace tonight. Not that it matters to me, they're still awesome, but I was just curious.

Just because a band uses the word God in one song it means they might be Christian. Who the hell cares.

Davey is Wicaan.
"I raised my eyes up to the light in hopes of finding healing; no relief was mine, I was burnt, by the sun."
-AFI "A Single Second"
They have religious beliefs but aren't christian.

One of the greatest songs ever. You can almost feel the pain when he sings this.

Wicaan isnt structured at all... its like a church that accepts every type of religious beliefs... its pretty cool.

Hey in a rock sound mag(europe), there was an interview with AFI and when the lead singer was asked if he believe in god he said : I BELIEVE IN AN ALL-POWERFUL GOOD AND AN ALL-POWERFUL EVIL.
Does that answer your question?

Its alot less christian now then it use to be, there big thing now is to not put out albums with profain lyrics.
I;m not sure what you were getting at with your post but FSF is very religious band.

i only say it beacuse you dont very often hear them say "god" straight out in thier lyrics, because someone made a comment on just because they say god once in a lyric.

My: Are your lyrics influenced by witchcraft? There are songs like Malleus Maleficarum, which have witchcraft connotations.
Davey: I suppose to some extent. I mean, it depends what your definition of witchcraft is. I mean, I’m definitely not Wiccan, and I’m not influenced by that. But there’s a lot of… there’s some occult influences in my music, just because I find a lot of that interesting.

there was a more recent interview where he said pretty much the same thing but i don't recall a link to it.
