The word legend gets bandied about a lot these days. It's sometimes given to people that have never had or will ever have the true characteristics of the word.

One man has that always truly epitomized the very essence of the word was Sir Bob. He passed away this Friday after battling back from Cancer no less than five times previously. He was an immensely dedicated, genuine and honourable man above anything else. The Football world has lost a true legend and one of it's greatest sons. RIP Sir Bob.

I was at Wembley in 1978 when Ipswich won the FA cup under Robson. The most amazing day in sports of my life. A funny connection... when I was 9, I used to deliver milk to his house with my brother who was a milkman! He was a good man and will be missed.
