ENGLISH mix CD, please help

I recently finished a book in my english class, and for the final project, we must be creative in explaining about the book. i am looking to put together a soundtrack, or mix CD if you will, about the book. you may not have read the book, but it is about a teenager going through the typical struggles of teenage life: self conciousness, school, heartbreak, friends, divorce, love between siblings. if you have any suggestions at all, i would really, really appreciate it. here are some examples:

in the book, this girl gets sexually touched by her cousin, she possibly has to move to new zealand, away from her family, she hates her prinicpal, and she falls in love with a much older boy. any suggestions?
