The Remaining Revolution Secrets.

Tomorrow at GDC, it's said that Satoru Iwata will reveal the official name of the Nintendo revolution. There are a few other things left about this system which we don't know. Here are the current rumors.

Rumor
-A Mic will be revealed on the controller
-A summer launch of the system
-A new form of interface on the system

The nintendo revolution still has at least one secret left. it's been rumored to be a mic, although I do not believe that is all it may be. They did not reveal all of the things that the system and controller can do. Like the DS, also mentioned in interviews, before it was revealed, all we knew was the system had Dual Screens. They told us the same information, that it still has a few more secrets, at E3 they showed the other secret features. Being.

This alludes to the fact that the nintendo revolution may be even more astounding then we know. Although, I doubt that will be revealed until E3 in may.

wouldnt suprise me if they're not great. and agree with whoever said that the graphics are similar, although it is very hard to compare with computer screenshots. call of duty 2 on xbox 360 on a high def tv (like the one at my local store) looked a lot better than the screens i've seen on the web.

To go along with the rest of this thread though, I'm guessing that the extra secret will be force feedback so that if you're playing a sword fighting game or something, you get the controller knocked back. That'd be sweet but a terrible drain on the battery.

A microphone is not out of the question because Nintendo insists that people want to shout at their video games...that does work with older people playing games though because they're always yelling at the screen.

I think that the final name will and should be Revolution. My friend talked to a Nintendo representative that said that they wanted to initially change after Xbox revealed the 360 because a 360 is a revolution and too many people would get that mixed up so they wanted to change it. However, the overwhelmingly positive response to the name has forced them to reconsider this decision. I'm a fan of Revolution but I will be content either way, as long as I get good games.

All N64 games will run at perfectly smooth frame rates. WHICH will improve Perfect Dark by ALOT. Since when you have alot of bots or explosives on the rates were awful.

actually, my friends and i went back and have been playing goldeneye again for the past 3 weeks. the single player is still ace, you just need to get used to the controls a bit... the only thing that doesnt stand up to today's standards is the multiplayer. yeah yeah, i know... huge part of the game, but you can still enjoy the single player in groups

Pretty sure you can go into GS now and pre-order both. If you really want them on launch, you should check. That way you don't get snubbed by shortages and get pushed back to 2nd or third shipment.
